Istanbul Floral Denim - 2024

A little piece of Istanbul, brought home and waiting for the right projects.

I found this beautiful floral denim at a fabric shop in Istanbul in 2024. I brought it back to the studio knowing I’d eventually find the right things to make with it - as it turns out, it had a lot more ideas than I did.

This is a limited textile: once this fabric is gone, these pieces are gone with it. I’m reserving most of the yardage for larger projects, with only a small portion set aside for smaller goods like key fobs and accessories.

Every piece made from this fabric carries the same little bit of history: fabric found in Istanbul, brought home to Southern California, and given a new life in the studio.

What you see here is all there will be.
